Each cable is made of 24AWG pure copper listed pair conduits with 50u" gold plated contacts. Cat5e and Cat 6 cables are made of 100% bare copper wire and are fully compliant with UL Code 444 and National Electrical Code TIA-568-C.2 fire and safety standards, which require pure bare copper wire in Cat5e and Cat6 communications cables.

Cat 5e cables are primarily used for networking, data transfer, and phone lines at frequencies up to 100MHz (10/100MHz). All of our CAT-5E cables are 100% tested for performance and continuity in accordance with industry standards. Cat 6 cables are used for networking, data transfer, and phone lines. CAT-6 Cable is used in network applications and have been designed specifically for Gigabit Ethernet applications. They perform at high-data transfer rates, and work with ATM and gigabit speed products. These cables deliver improved performance over standard CAT-5E cables.
